The box is made by encasing the waney edged Horse Chestnut in resin before cutting to size and sanding to leave a polished finish. Constructed using mitre joints allows the timber to wrap around the box in a continuous grain pattern. The resin is impregnated with Aluminium creating a sleek contemporary design.

The box has a single tray made from dyed Sycamore and is lined with goat suede.
